This stunning Edwardian writing desk is a true statement piece, beautifully finished in black lacquer and in excellent antique condition. The raised top features two banks of drawers flanking a central mirrored back, crowned with a shaped and carved decorative top. The desk is fitted with three green leather inset panels, elegantly finished with gilt tooling. A hinged writing slope perfect for storing a laptop or paper. All mahogany-lined drawers glide effortlessly, showcasing beautifully shaped panels and decorative brass handles. Standing on carved cabriole style legs this is a truly elegant piece with great colouring and patina. Like all antiques there are imperfections however this is a solid piece of furniture that will add history, elegance, and functionality, to any home or office.
