Beautiful Queen Anne Oak Lowboy c. 1700

A very good and early English oak lowboy, all original, and with a fantastic colour and patina.
Peg jointed and solid throughout, the twin boarded oversailing top having a rich deep patina (the boards with a natural slender shrinkage gap between them).
Lovely carved bead detailing to the drawer front.
Retaining original escutcheon and drop handles, the steel lock has been moved to the left of the drawer front at some point.
Very sturdy, heavy and usable, the drawer opens and closes smoothly and has its original solid oak lining.
A really eye catching Queen Anne lowboy made by hand in c.1700, of beautiful proportions and most attractive form.
Dimensions are:
29 inches high, 22.25 inches deep, and 35.5 inches wide. Internal (usable) drawer depth is 4.5 inches.
For metric please multiply by 2.5
I describe and photograph my pieces accurately and with the aim that on arrival each will exceed expectations.
I operate a full refund guarantee and am always happy to give free, honest and friendly advice.
