Arts & Crafts original watercolour of a maiden by a tree with two hearts. Signed W. Chappes 1910. I can find no record of this artist but the painting is beautifully executed. Alas she looks as if her lover has abandoned her.
Offered in excellent condition.
The frame measures 76cms x 54cms and the painting 35cms x 22cms. PLEASE NOTE, RED HOUSE ANTIQUES HAS NOW RETIRED.
