This is a late Victorian Arts & Crafts solid Oak cabinet c1875-90. It is raised upon a plinth base with quadrant moulding to it and single door that is hinged on the right hand side. It is clearly of Superior quality with it possessing Elsley Fittings of Great Portland street London. Elsley's are also known to have made brass antique furniture fittings for C.F.A. Voysey. It retains its original locks, handles and escutcheons. There is a single drawer above the cupboard with ash linings to the drawer. The top has a simple and plain cut edge with there being reeded moulding to the drawer in the Arts & Crafts reformed Gothic style which was prevalent at this point.
