Art Nouveau Sheet Music Filing Cabinet c.1910
Delightful little Edwardian mahogany music cabinet c.1910. Originally intended for sheet music, but nowadays popular for filing and stationery, the drawer fronts fold down on a patented mechanism to allow easy access to the contents. Of unusual design with a serpentine sided tray top over an open shelf and five drawers with inlaid serpentine fall fronts and superb original Art Nouveau motif handles. The Art Nouveau theme continues in the organic shape of the stiles and legs. Solid mahogany sides and panelled back. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Internal drawer dimensions: width 15″, depth 11″, height 3¼”.
