Stunning original Art Nouveau or Jugendstil pewter vase by the German sculptor Julius Robert Hannig (1866 – 1931) c.1900. Standing 22″ tall, beautiful asymmetrical design featuring handles modelled as corncobs, whilst the body is decorated in partial relief with ears of wheat, poppies and iris flowers. Clearly signed by Hannig low down on one side. Original unpolished finish. With a small split to seam the on base, otherwise excellent condition.
