Beautiful French Art Nouveau style double bed c.1900. Organic shaped head and foot boards with applied mouldings and carved floral detail against a highly figured plum pudding mahogany veneered ground giving the effect of rippling water. Side rails also shaped, moulded and veneered to match. Internal dimensions 55" x 75" to take a standard double mattress (or a five foot wide mattress could be used resting on the side rails). Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
