Circa.1900 this 4-fold carved Mahogany framed screen contains 2 double-sided upholstered panels per fold finished in the original Art Nouveau/William Morris type fabric without any rips or tears and without fading.
The heavy solid mahogany framing has fluted uprights and a carved central pediment and top decorated with open relief urns typical of designs contemporary to this period. Two of these urns are damaged but can be restored at extra cost by our experienced restorer (please contact us for further info photos etc)...bar this it is in genuine a excellent original condition with little fold out shelves on each panel on one side.
It folds and functions as it should do and would make a lovely addition to any domestic bedroom or bathroom but it would also work well in commercial setting such as a dress shop.
