Exceptional quality and form this table was produced in France using the finest timber and highest level of cabinetmakers skills, using the finest cuts of solid pommele sappele all solid with extremely well designed and carved detailing. The table has an oval top that steps down to a carved frieze and stands on four canted corner legs, the carving is at the top of the four legs a flower display in the form of a Bird, this is very typical of Paul Follot every carving is detailed, crisp and uniquely carved and have been used on other pieces of his antique furniture. This level of work is very difficult to copy. The table has been sympathetically restored and is in excellent well preserved condition.
