A stylish vintage Art Deco large single bed (3ft 6 Wide) bed dating from circa 1930s. In richly figured walnut veneers, the headboard and footboard with attractive shell carved top rail and standing on small Queen Anne legs with shell carved knees. Really good colour and patina to the walnut. It has a continental style wooden side rails and two cross rails on wheels. Can be assembled or dis-assembled. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and wooden side rails, two sets cross rails on wheels and comes complete with a pine slatted bed base (no mattress or bedding included).

Measuring 107cm by 190cm, a wide single bed is the same length as a standard UK 3ft single bed, but 17cm wider, giving a slightly roomier sleep. These mattress are available from some larger mattress suppliers as well as some online mattress suppliers.

Condition Report:
Good colour and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. There are some filled holes to the frame and some small gaps along the joints of the panels which have shrunk over time.
