We are offering for sale this lovely, mint condition, Art Deco Carryall Compact, Evening Bag, or Vanity Case by ENTOUKA, which is quite a rare item. The compact is made of brass, with a Burr Walnut Finish and has an Art Deco Diamante clip, as shown. Inside the lid, is a bevelled edged mirror, with two side mirrors, which swing out, making a triple. The backs of the side mirrors also have burr walnut finish.

On the comb holder it states ENTOUKA, a triangle mark with an M inside and PAT. APPL. 34478 and FOREIGN. The manufacturer may be European.

To the right is a compartment for cigarettes, with a bar to hold them in place, with a very Deco striped design and to the left is another lid, with burr walnut finish, below which is a circular compartment holding rouge (which is unused). Beneath this is the compartment for powder, with the original powder puff and mesh sieve, also unused.

The compartment at the left front with sprung bar is for holding a lipstick. In the centre, above the hinge, is a brass comb holder, although the comb is missing, but easily replaceable with a faux tortoiseshell one, which would suit very well.

The compact comes in its original grey felt case.
