This wonderful vintage handbag was made in the 1930's/40's for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. The body of the bag is constructed from black grosgrain, while the kiss lock closure features a cherry red Bakelite hardware with gold-tone accents. There are several interior pockets and the size of the bag is a great too and enough to house all your needs for modern day use .
Overall this bag is in great condition and has retained it's vibrancy. There is some wear to the base of the bag on the edge where it's gone slightly bald and there are one or two areas of loose thread.
