A superb antique William IV walnut leather top writing table / desk by Edwards and Roberts. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1840 period.

It is of outstanding quality, with gorgeous walnut grain patterns throughout. It stands on bold, turned and fluted legs with porcelain casters, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item. The inset black leather top has blind tooling around the edge, and compliments the light wood tone beautifully. This has the makers mark stamped in the top drawer.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
