Antique William IV Carved Rosewood Canterbury
This is a superb antique William IV carved rosewood Canterbury, circa 1830.

This is a superb quality antique William IV carved rosewood Canterbury, made circa 1830. The Canterbury has four stunning shaped, splayed carved and pierced sections with elegantly turned spindles and carved panels as dividers. Turned horizontal rosewood spindles connect the sections. The front section has a stunning carved leaf and floral panel. Below, there is a single mahogany, dovetailed drawer. The drawer is shaped to fit seamlessly in with the base of the Canterbury for an excellent aesthetics. The Canterbury sits on turned and fluted legs and have the original brass cap castors. The wood of the piece has a rich rosewood colour, excellent patina, is in excellent with firm joints. The piece has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
This elegant piece would look great in the living room, hallway or bedroom.
