This antique Victorian elm armchair was used by myself as a desk chair behind my desk in the shop. Having acquired a bad back through 40 years of lifting antique furniture, I found this chair the most comfortable to sit on. Everyone wanted to buy it when it was in the shop. Now we have re-furbished the shop, I'm now sitting on a retro design chair behind modern desk. Anyway, this chair has been re-polished & is now in excellent condition & dates to around the 1880 period.
