George III Gainsborough armchair newly upholstered
Fabulous quality and newly upholstered Georgian Gainsborough armchair in a blush ivory silk damask, really is a beautiful chair and very much useable!
Wonderful lines to the sweeping arms, a generous size to the seat and sensible height to the back.
Measuring:
38 inches or 96.5 cm high
28 1/4 inches or 72 cm wide
27 1/2 inches or 70 cm deep.
16 1/2 inches or 42 cm seat height Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
