This antique Victorian Wellington chest is better quality than the average one & is in excellent condition, free from splits or warps. The top has a chamfered edge & the drawers are all graduated in depth. The drawers have turned mahogany handles & fine dovetails. It still has the original carved corbels on the front sides & sits on a plinth base. The right hand upright serves as a locking bar to keep all the drawers in place & we have the working key. This is a nice chunky small compact piece of antique furniture & the mahogany has a rich colour.
