Antique Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers
superb Antique Victorian Mahogany Bow Fronted Scotch Chest of Drawers and dating from around 1860. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a squared edge to the top above a frieze drawer. Below are two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined and with mother of pearl key escutcheons and original turned knob handles with mother of pearl insert to the centre. It has a classical style column to each side and stands on a deep plinth base on castors.
Measures 45" high x 21" deep x 48" wide
A superb Antique Victorian Mahogany Bow Front Scotch Chest of Drawers and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
