A particularly nice 19th century piano stool by H. Brooks & Co, stamped on the base of one leg as shown. With a fabulous bulbous central column leading to the carved tripod base, the seat is height adjustable and fairly sturdy for this kind of stool even when raised up high.

Very good condition, structurally in good shape with some attractive age related wear. The seat pad has been covered in a faux leather fabric but the aesthetic is very much in keeping with the character of the stool. There is one small tear to the edge but this rather adds to the charm of the piece.
