Antique Truncheon for Neath Borough Police
Antique presentation/commemorative truncheon to the former Neath Borough Police. Neath Borough Police ceased to exist after 1947, when it was amalgamated into the Glamorganshire Constabulary.
Hand painted and finely decorated, this truncheon has the wording NEATH BOROUGH POLICE and a central depiction of the Borough coat of arms. This truncheon forms part of a collection of several other similar truncheons from former Welsh police forces.
In good condition with some expected age related wear.
