Antique presentation/commemorative truncheon to the former Neath Borough Police. Neath Borough Police ceased to exist after 1947, when it was amalgamated into the Glamorganshire Constabulary.

​Hand painted and finely decorated​, this truncheon has the wording NEATH BOROUGH POLICE and a central depiction of the Borough coat of arms. This truncheon forms part of a collection of several other similar truncheons from former Welsh police force​s.

In good condition with some expected age related wear.
