With classic Chippendale form this set of late Victorian revival chairs includes a pair of carvers
Delightfully weighty and strong these chairs are suitable for regular use
Reassuringly heavy with the carvers at 11.3kg (25lb) and the standard chairs at 8.6kg (19lb)
Generous in size & offering a useful 52cm (20.5") seat height
Rising from talon & ball feet, through elegant cabriole legs carved at the knee with foliate detailing
Desirable serpentine lower front and side rails displaying hand carving
Classic seat backs, profusely detailed, with fine splats
Extravagant top rail terminating with Chippendale flaired ears and subtle three hole Butler's grasp
Grand pair of carvers with well detailed sweeping arms over hand carved swan neck risers
Attractive mahogany showing depth of tone, quality grain and fine colour
