Offered for sale is this fine quality large round Victorian flame mahogany tip top dining table, 52" diameter. The top is a mellow brown mahogany with superb original patination has a frieze and stands on a bulbous turned and shaped centre pedestal on triform base with original brass and ceramic castors. It is marked with the name " W Hawksley, Cabinet Maker, Retford. The table is in original condition with superb colour and patination and is in excellent condition with the odd shrinkage crack and marks associated with a table of this age, the table oozes character and well above average quality, the grain pattern has to be seen to be apprteciated. The table will seat 6 to 8 and dates to about 1860. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
