This is a stunning set of Antique Regency Mahogany Chairs c1811-20. They comprise of one carver and 4 ordinary chairs with drop on seats. They have swept sabre legs to the front and rear legs with a triple moulded details running from the bottom of the legs to the top of the back supports. The carver has a wonderful exaggerated scroll support with the splat supports being a large rope twist. The bar backs have curl or fiddle back mahogany to the central panels and carved scroll decoration to each side. They are currently covered in calico as what ever we put on would be wrong for someone.
