This is an antique pier cabinet. An English, walnut and boxwood glazed bookcase or display cupboard, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Wonderfully light walnut stocks impress with superior grain interest
Warm caramel hues dazzle beneath the wax polish finish
Tall profile with cavetto form crown over a plinth base
Upper fascia accentuated with delicate marquetry, the scroll motif in boxwood
Generously glazed cabinet door dressed with a brass lock escutcheon — key present
Eye-catching ormolu beading accentuates the door and further enhanced with boxwood stringing
