A good quality solid oak roll top desk from the London maker Angus. The desk has panelled sides, back and insides with a slatted tambour which runs smoothly in the “S” shaped sides. The well fitted interior having 12 square cardboard file drawers all retaining the original brass ring pulls, 4 wider drawers with inverted turned pulls and with various pigeonholes. The pedestals with graduated drawers and wooden handles with pull out slides above and wide drawer to the centre. The desk stands on plinth bases with hidden casters and when the tambour is shut a` mechanism locks the pedestal drawers. In very good condition, fully cleaned and waxed with 2 keys.
