An oak coffer from the 1600s. This coffer or blanket chest is generally in good condition and has arched detailing in the top rail on the face. Good shaped hinges and a nice aged lustre. clean and tidy inside and out. This 17th century coffer has only had minor restoration over its life it appears and is a good and tidy example. A good size and pleasing simplicity this one, no fuss. I could live with this myself.
