Antique Mahogany Leather Top Desk
High quality antique leather top mahogany desk, dating to around the 1890 period & in excellent condition. This desk has some very fine carvings in many different places, so please enlarge all the images to see everything. It’s also free standing with a polished back. This desk has a tooled leather writing surface, original brass handles & locks in all the drawers which are also finely dovetailed. I particularly like the gadrooned top edge & the wonderful carvings on the tops of the legs, plus the little carved rosettes on the corners of the kneehole.
