Offered for sale is this good quality Victorian mahogany telescopic dining table extending from approximately 46" x 47" extending to 93" x 46" with two original leaves, a comfortable 8-10 seater. It is a rich conker brown colour and is a very dense mahogany with good graining. The rectangular top has a double edge moulding above carved and fluted supports standing on brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and dates to about 1870.
