Offered for sale is this superb quality mahogany Chippendale style extending dining table measuring approximately 60" x 42" extending to 84" x 42" with one leaf and dating to 1900 - 1920. The D ended table has a moulded edge above cabriole supports with acanthus leaf carved shoulders and ball and claw feet with original brass castors seating 8 people. The table is in excellent showroom condition having been sympathetically repolished and the extending mechanism, complete with winding handle works very smoothly. The table has a makers plate - "Made by G.Baker, Chippendale House, Wells Road, Bath". High quality cabinet makers . The table is a rich dark brown mahogany colour.
