This is an Edwardian lady's writing desk dating to c.1910.

Modestly sized, formed in well figured rosewood, this delightful piece features a black, blind tooled skiver fronting a hinged stationery box with inlaid up stand decorated in classical form.

Raised on tapered, square section legs with boxwood inlay and terminating on spade feet, the legs are united by a tabled stretcher. Beneath the writing surface a frieze drawer is dressed with twin brass handles.

In good antique condition, delivered waxed and polished ready for the home.
