Antique Kingsize Headboard
Fabulous 19th century carved kingsize headboard panel, that has been repurposed from a Victorian sideboard, and fitted with a buttoned upholstered panel.
The upholstered panel is very easy to remove and reupholster in your own choice of fabric, or you may choose to keep the existing (which is in good condition).
I have suggested wall mounting this headboard as shown, but if you would rather it had legs to attach to your own divan base, let me know and that can be done.
The intended mattress level is at the bottom of the existing upholstered panel and at this point, it measures 60 inches or 152.5cm wide, which is a standard UK kingsize…your divan would push up against the lower carved parts either side and position correctly so there is no gap!
Priced as you see it here, but if you would rather it be upholstered in your own fabric, buttoned like this or perhaps a plain cushioned panel, please get in touch.

The position / height in this photo would give your mattress height at around 24 inches Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
