This is an eye catching Japanese tea table of low form made from Keyaki wood (Japanese elm) dating from the turn of the century c.1900.

The inset top is made from one slice of Keyaki wood, which possesses the distinctive grain for which the tree is known. The whole stands on square section and abstracted scrolled legs. It is a simple but elegant design, which lends itself to being a coffee table for the living room. It would compliment a variety of interior styles from Arts & Crafts to Mid Century Modern.

Condition: This table is in fine antique condition with its original surface. There are numerous marks, pale and dark, but we believe that these just add to the character and desirability. The top has experienced some shrinkage across the grain which is typical of a table this age, but there is no splitting of the wood. The table has been waxed and buffed and is ready for a place in your home.

Delivery: The table can be delivered to anywhere on mainland England and most of Wales for £50 by our trusted delivery man who is an expert in transporting antique furniture and artwork. Any other items which you may wish to purchase at the same time would only incur a small, if any, incremental charge for their delivery.
