Antique Indian moustache axe
An Indian bullova fighting axe of considerable age , this would have been used in central India I the early part of the 19 century. Known as a moustache axe by the shape of the cutting head. It has a long hardwood shaft the head held with a heavy round iron socket which provides the balance to the axe it has a decorative brass tip to the top and bottom of the shaft a good early example of one of these weapons.
