A handsome antique Georgian side cabinet in figured mahogany dating from circa 1800 converted from a commode. With drawer over cupboard over 2 further drawers. It has beautifully figured mahogany to the front, with attractive brass knobs and handles and stands on sqaure feet. Lovely age and patina to the wood. This piece would have originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard and has been converted into a side cabinet at some point. A high quality piece it would make a lovely side cabinet, hall cupboard or TV unit.

Good colour and patina. The doors are slightly bowed and wonky – see photos. Discolouration and stains to top – see photos. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age. It would have stated life as a commode and has been converted into a side cabinet.
