Antique Georgian Period Mahogany Slim Bookcase
A stunning & very slim antique George III period Dresser or Bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.
It is of superb quality and is a very useful size, being quite slim yet containing plenty of storage space. The upper open section has lovely curved sides & could even be used for books. The lower cabinet has a panelled door and sits on bracket feet.
We have had this re-polished, the mahogany has a beautiful colour tone and patina. The condition is excellent for its age, with some small marks and indentations remaining here and there beneath the polish.
Width – 18 inches , 46 cm
Depth – 14 inches , 36 cm
