Antique Georgian Country Oak Chest on Chest
Lovely Antique George 111 Country Oak Chest on Chest and dating from aorund 1780. It has a flared cornice top above a cross banded frieze with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers. The base has a moulded edge and three further long graduating drawers. All of the drawers are oak lined and each with cross banded edges and original brass handles and later brass key escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on shaped and pierced bracket feet. The top removes for ease of transporting.
Measures 71" high x 21" deep x 41" wide
In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and oozes all the charm and character of the Period.
