Antique Georgian Country Oak Joint Stool and dating from around the time of George 111 c1780. The seat is carved with a coat of arms depicting crossed keys with a crown, above this is a bishops mitre. Below is a carved frieze the whole standing on turned legs on a block foot joined by carved stretchers.

Measures 22" high x 14" x 20.5"

Georgian Country Oak Joint Stool and with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the oak and in very good condition oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
