This is an antique gentleman's nightstand. An English, mahogany bedside chest of drawers, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1780.

Appealingly figured bedroom nightstand with useful proportion
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Dashing select stocks present fine grain interest throughout
Sumptuous caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

Arrangement of three graduated drawers with inset brass lined locks — key absent
Drawer boxes crafted from oak, the fascia accentuated with cockbeading to the edge
Fascia dressed with later brass handles in Aesthetic Period taste
The whole standing upon a quartet of collar turned bun feet
