A stunning antique French inlaid parquetry writing desk. This was recently imported from France, it dates from around the 1890-1900 period.

It is of very fine quality, with gorgeous inlaid parquetry patterns on all sides. There is a brass rim around the top, and lovely ormolu mounts on the knees and feet of the legs. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
