A terrific and most unusual example of a desk or counter bell made from cast brass in a naturalistic form with leaves, flowers and twigs all beautifully hand chased to give it a lifelike quality.

The hinged lever to the side is pulled and released to allow the clapper to strike the interior of the bell creating a very charming but authoritative ring.

A good impressive size, with a footprint measuring approximately 6" x 6" and standing 6" tall to top of finial. Victorian in era, dating to around 1880.
