EMPIRE OAK FITTED WARDROBE

This is a wonderful Empire period oak Gentlemans fitted wardrobe c1918-39 by Fitrobe. It has a wonderful oak veneered grain to the outside with geometric chevron pattern with bookmatched lower panels. The handles are very elegant hexagonal section pull handles and is raised on small bracket feet.

The has shelving to the left hand side with two drawers the right handside has a hanging rail that pulls forward. On the left hand door is a tray for tie pins and cuff links. The right hand door has a tie rack and diamond shaped mirror with its makers label under the mirror. So if you are curious you could go to the National Archive at Kew Gardens and look all of the Registration numbers up. The outside of wardrobe has a very unusual feature that we have not see before, a pull out external hanging rail that slides back in when not in use. It does not come apart in any way.
