A handsome antique Edwardian panelled oak double bed dating from circa 1910. In a richly figured oak which has been newly restored, the solid oak panelled headboard and footboard with serpentine shaped top rails and tapered feet. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a slatted wooden bed base which make a very solid bed (no mattress or bedding included). With makers stamp to underneath: “L.CLIFFE”

It has been newly restored. Some small filled holes to the feet where the hitches have been moved up. Wear and marks commensurate with age.
