Fine quality mahogany antique glazed bookcase dating from around the 1910 period & in good condition. There is a blind fretwork pattern around the top & the well shaped bracket feet are carved on the tops. The two doors have very attractive astral-glazing & inside there are adjustable mahogany shelves. This bookcase has one other very useful detail. There’s a small overhanging section on the back of the sides, which allow this piece to be placed closer to the wall by avoiding skirting boards. This is the sort of attention to detail that one would expect on better quality items.
