This is an antique daybed, a reclining chaise longue from the late Victorian period at the end of the 19th century, circa 1900.

Comfortable daybed with built in reclining backrest
Raised on squat turned, mahogany legs and ceramic castors
Scrolled, drop-end design for adjustable reclination

Over-stuffed upholstery for added comfort
Finished in a quality mustard tapestry needlepoint cloth
Classic buttoned finish
Textile in good serviceable condition ready to use. However there are some 'popped' buttons. The upholstery is solid and well-sprung therefore recovering would be a straight forward task if desired.

A generously sized daybed ideal for lounging upon. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
