This exquisite Chinese altar table embodies the classic beauty of its design and hails from Shanxi. Its slender form sets it apart from antique European antique furniture, which rarely features such elongated proportions. Altar antique tables held great significance in ancestral rituals in China. coated in black lacquer, with gilt artwork of scenes from china and geometric patters on the base, this table now glimpses of its age and due to wear and tear over time.
