Antique apprentice piece wooden carved chest in the form of a c16th coffer. The chest has a hinged lid and two internal sections, it is signed by H. Uphill of Wilton Wiltshire. Horace Uphill also made miniature antique furniture for Queen Mary's dolls house. Excellent Condition. H. 7.5cm. Width 20cm. Depth 8cm.
