This is an antique, English, aesthetic period display cabinet dating to c1880.

This period ebonised display cabinet is bordered with inlaid amboyna defined by boxwood stringing.

Riding on the original ceramic castors and plinth base the main cabinet displays canted corners and, most notably, an oval form window within the door encircled with the amboyna inlay. Within are a pair of adjustable shelves.

Above the cabinet a mirror backed up stand is flanked by twin column supports either side, fluted and detailed in a golden highlight. The upper plinth's apron and up stand mirror one another decorated in geometric form with semi-circular focus.

A fine example with solid joints, delivered waxed and polished ready for the home.
