This is an antique 2-seat sofa. A French, textile and beech lounge settee, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Lasting comfort with traditionally stuffed cushions
Displaying a desirable aged patina - can be enjoyed as is or recovered to taste
Quality upholstery showing signs of gentle family wear - one small ink mark present under cushion
Solid beech frame replete with attractive gilt finish offering warm hues
Low double camel back promotes relaxed reclining
Feather-stuffed seat cushions with additional lumbar pillows
Deep, rolled sofa arms with pleated detail and piping
Deep pink brocade trim adds further detail to the whole
Sash lower rail with serpentine forms and plume of feathers shield motif
