A very beautiful and very rare Anglo Indian padouk Rosewood Ladies Workbox on Stand circ 1850. Numerous compartments with 2 secret compartments below the pen section. Red quilted velvet on the underside of the lid giving the piece a luxurious look.The base has beautiful detailed carving and is on castors. there is bone inlay in the lid and the front.
